The University of Wisconsin-Madison has introduced a cutting-edge recreation and well-being center on its campus, situated near Lake Mendota. This facility is designed to address the diverse fitness, recreational, and mental health needs of students, featuring amenities such as a swimming pool, ice rink, basketball courts, and a jogging track.

The buildings distinctive architectural elements, including open atriums, high ceilings, and curved walls, posed unique challenges for the fire protection design. Blair Fire Protection successfully met these challenges by installing a manual wet standpipe system and eight wet systems, all while preserving the building's aesthetic appeal.
